Intro to Data Networking in the Telco Network (abbreviated version of POTS to PIPES)

This 3 hour seminar will introduce managers and technical employees to the data networking technologies associated with the convergence to TCP/IP in the traditional telephone network.  This seminar is targeted to explain data networking concepts and integration to telephone technicians, engineers and managers.  Join us for 3 hours of important education that will improve your base understanding of how TCP/IP can integrate into your evolving telephone network. About your instructor/presenter: Glen Scymanski is currently the Western Regional Sales Manager for Pannaway Technologies.  In his previous roles throughout his career he has held senior technical and engineering positions at companies such as Pannaway, Northrop Grumman, Unisphere Solutions, Cisco Systems and Cabletron Systems.  He is well versed at IP based technologies especially in the area’s of multimedia / triple play and he has a keen understanding and appreciation for TDM based architectures that are being migrated towards IP based architectures.

Roundtable Title: WE REALLY ARE ALL IN THE SAME KETTLE OF SOUP

  • Seminar Description: This roundtable will be an open forum discussion with AT&T and other CALCOM technical members to discuss various topics common to our industry and share ideas that would potentially help the group as a whole as well as discuss ways we can better work together to resolve technical problems and issues. At the conclusion of the discussion portion of the round table for those members who have previously signed up, we will drive to AT&T’s Network Operations Center for a tour of their facility. Sign Up for the tour by April 15th 2007 in order to be included.
